MapleStory Classic World Screenshot EXP Calculator

Guide by MapleEXP · Updated

Use two EXP-bar images and your level to measure EXP/hour and time to level up. Learn Simple and Full modes, photo timing, and local or account saving.

1. Choose Simple or Full on the homepage

Simple reads the EXP number and percentage from two EXP-bar images. Enter the character level when the second image starts processing; if you leveled up, enter the ending level too. The supported input range is level 1–100.

Full reads a complete game view, including level, EXP, character and map information. On a phone, photograph the entire game interface; on a computer, select the game window. Check every recognized value before using the result.

2. Capture the same character before and after training

On a phone, take the first photo, train for 5–10 minutes, then take the second photo. You can also choose two existing images together. On a computer, capture the game window, upload screenshots or paste an image. In Simple mode, keep the EXP number and percentage sharp and unobstructed.

Use the same character for both images. Review glare, cropped digits and the displayed values. When two images are selected together, they are processed in parallel and calculation follows once the required information passes the checks.

3. Confirm capture times and read the result

The site looks for capture times in photo metadata or supported filenames. If it cannot establish the time interval, enter the elapsed training time when prompted. Use the time between captures, including pauses; uploading an image later does not make that its capture time.

The result shows EXP gained, EXP/hour, progress and estimated time to the next level. These describe the measured session. A zero-gain session does not provide a useful upgrade-time estimate.

4. Save locally or to your account

To save, search for a map and select a result; typed text alone does not select a map. Choose local storage for this browser without signing in, or sign in/register to save to your account and follow the character prompts. Both modes support these choices.

Local records stay in that browser on that device. Clearing browser data or changing devices can make them unavailable. Account records can be accessed after signing in. Simple-mode results are not submitted to the public efficiency leaderboard.

When a result looks wrong

Retake a blurry or incomplete image and confirm the level and elapsed time. In Full mode, check the recognized character and map as well. A passed automatic check does not guarantee that every digit or name is correct.

Screenshot recognition needs an internet connection. This guide does not promise perfect recognition across all devices, camera angles or game interfaces.

Common questions

Do I need an account to calculate?

No. Both calculator modes work without signing in. You can also save locally without an account.

Does Simple mode need the map name in the photo?

No. It reads the EXP number and percentage; you enter the level and select the map when saving.

Can I use images taken at different levels?

Simple mode accepts separate starting and ending levels within 1–100 and accounts for the EXP needed between levels. Check the levels carefully.
